Clinic: Conducting and coordinating clinical trials with antibodies, cancer vaccines and other immunotherapeutic strategies (funded by the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research and the Cancer Research Institute, Wilhelm Sander Foundation); Development of interdisciplinary therapy standards in palliative medicine (German Cancer Aid); Implementation of clinical programs to evaluate the effects of physical exercise and sports in cancer patients (Deutsche Krebshilfe, Leben mit Krebs Foundation).

Research: Molecular characterization of tumor antigens; identification of spontaneous and vaccine-induced antigen-specific humoral and T-cell responses; development of new methods for antigen-specific T-cell-based immunotherapy modalities in cancer patients.

Teaching activity: Training of students in their practical year at Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main Lecture "Selected Topics in Internal Hematology - Oncology"; and "Tumor Immunology" for students in their practical year at Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main.
