Zipeng Lu, MD, PhD, MRCSEd
Dr. Lu is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Associate Consultant Surgeon of Pancreas Center, First Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University.

Dr. Lu specializes in pancreatic surgery, including radical resections for pancreatic cancer, minimally invasive techniques, and functional-preserving procedures for benign tumors. His research focuses on molecular mechanisms of tumor microenvironment and progression, alongside clinical studies in pancreatic cancer screening, cystic lesions, and surgical quality control.

As first/corresponding author, he published 32 papers in high-impact journals such as Journal of Clinical Oncology, Cell Death & Differentiation, Nano Letters, Surgery etc, supported by three National Natural Science Foundation grants. He has received multiple international conference awards, including Young Investigator Awards from the APA and IAP. Dr. Lu serves on editorial boards of Surgery Open Science.
