MD, PhD, Professor, HPB surgeon, surgical oncologist, Head of the Department of Pancreatic and Bile Ducts Surgery of the Shalimov National Scientific Center of Surgery and Transplantology, leading HPB surgeon of Ukraine, Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine, Honoured Doctor of Ukraine, full member of the Association of Surgeons of Ukraine.
Scientific activity: published more than 500 scientific papers, including 7 monographs and 48 inventions. Under his supervision, 17 dissertations have been completed and successfully defended - 5 doctoral and 12 candidate dissertations. Prof. Kopchak actively contributes to Ukrainian and international scientific and professional events, including conferences, meetings and conventions, in the capacity of session moderator or invited speaker.
