Tianhui Zhu is a PhD candidate within the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre In Vitro Diagnostics at Imperial College London. Her research focuses on the evaluation and implementation of artificial intelligence in clinical settings. She is particularly interested in developing evaluation approaches that consider clinical relevance, patient and public perspectives, usability, and implementation requirements alongside technical performance. Before beginning her PhD, Tianhui had a background in business and data science, giving her an interdisciplinary perspective on the development and evaluation of healthcare technologies.
