Raquel Benitez Dorta
Dr. Raquel Benítez is the Clinical Research Project Manager of the Genetic and Molecular Epidemiology Group (GMEG) at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO), Madrid, Spain and she acts as Project Management Officer for the Pancreatic Cancer Europe (PCE) Multistakeholder Platform. She also acts as the General Secretary of ALIPANC (Alliance for Pancreatic Cancer Research). Dr. Benítez holds a PhD in Cancer Epidemiology and Public Health and has over nine years of experience in cancer research, and has ten scientific papers on bladder, lung, and pancreatic cancer, including the development of statistical models. She contributes to research projects on pancreatic cancer, including the EU-funded PANCAIM, PANCAID, SPARC and GUIDE.MRD initiatives, and on cancer networks of expertise, JANE2. Her career also includes roles as a biostatistician consultant for the Lung Cancer Spanish Group (GECP). Dr. Benítez is dedicated to bridging the gap between groundbreaking research and real-world impact, ensuring innovative projects receive the support needed to improve lives globally.
