Peter Kok-Ting Wan is a Pancreatic Cancer UK Fellow and translational cancer researcher in the Department of Oncology at University of Oxford. His research focuses on developing new therapeutic strategies for pancreatic cancer by targeting the tumour microenvironment.
His work combines antibody therapeutics and oncolytic virus-based immunotherapies with patient-derived organoid and tissue explant models. He also applies spatial biology and multi-omic approaches to characterise tumour-immune interactions and identify therapeutic vulnerabilities that can inform the development of new treatments.
