Nuh Rahbari
Prof. Nuh Rahbari is a leading expert in pancreatic and hepatobiliary surgery, currently serving as Chairman of the Department of General and Abdominal Surgery at the University Medical Center Ulm. He received his medical degree from the Technical University of Munich and completed surgical training at the University Hospitals Heidelberg and Dresden, Germany. He pursued advanced research and clinical fellowships at Harvard Medical School and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, with a focus on gastrointestinal and surgical oncology. Prof. Rahbari’s clinical and academic work centers on minimally invasive and robotic approaches to complex abdominal cancers, particularly pancreatic and liver tumors. His research explores tumor biology, metastatic pathways, and innovative diagnostic tools such as liquid biopsy for early detection and monitoring of pancreatic cancer. A prolific author and speaker, Prof. Rahbari brings deep clinical and research expertise to the field of pancreatic surgery.
