Dr. Max Pimkin, MD, PhD is board-certified pediatric hematologist/oncologist and a senior director of clinical development at Tango Therapeutics where he leads the TNG462 Phase1/2 studies. Dr. Pimkin received his medical training is Russia, followed by pediatric residency in Pittsburgh, PA, USA and a clinical fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology in Boston, MA, USA. He holds a PhD in biochemistry and completed postdoctoral training in the laboratories of Dr. Weiss at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Dr. Orkin at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Prior to joining the biopharmaceutical industry, Dr. Pimkin was an attending physician at Boston Children’s Hospital and a faculty member at the Harvard Medical School.
