Prof. Dr. Med. Siveke is a physician scientist involved in preclinical, translational and clinical research. His lab focuses on understanding tumor and host factors and their dynamics driving disease and treatment-related phenotypes mainly in pancreatic cancer. They are interested in target identification and validation of pharmacological and theranostic treatment strategies. He is the Director of the Bridge Institute of Experimental Tumor Therapy and Scientific Director of the West German Cancer Center of the University Hospital Essen and leads the Pancreatic Cancer program. He is also the Head of the Division of Translational Oncology of the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK) and the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) at partner site Essen.
