Ingmar Rompen works at the Depatment of General, Visceral, and Transplantation Surgery at Heidelberg University Hospital. Also, he has completed a postdoctoral fellowship at NYU Grossman School of Medicine under the leadership of Christopher Wolfgang MD. Before moving to Heidelberg, he finished his MD at the University of Bern, Switzerland. Main research interest include surgical techniques and outcomes for locally advanced pancreatic cancer, IPMN, and health care policies.
