Prof. Schneider studied Medicine in Regensburg and Würzburg, specializing in Gastroenterology at the Universities of Ulm and Munich. His research focuses on therapeutic vulnerabilities in gastrointestinal cancers, particularly targeting epigenetic machinery,oncogenic transcription factors, and signaling pathways. He also develops drug screens using human primary cellular cancer models. Since 2021, he has been Professor of Translational Cancer Research at the University Medical Center Göttingen and leads the translational research team at the G-CCC.
