Gulam Manji

Dr. Gulam Manji is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, Section Chief of Gastrointestinal Malignancies, co-Director of the Pancreas Center, and co-Leader of Precision Oncology and Systems Biology group within the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center. He specializes in the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies and is the Principal Investigator of multiple bench-to-bedside investigator-initiated clinical trials. He has translated five concepts to the clinic, one of which has progressed from the laboratory to a randomized multicenter phase 2 clinical trial in pancreas cancer. His laboratory focus is to identify novel therapies using patient derived tumor organoids. He is the recipient of multiple grants including the Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology in 2015, R01, and U01.
