Fabio Francesco Di Mola is an experienced surgeon and university professor currently serving as Deputy Head of the Surgical Department at the University of Chieti, Italy. He specializes in minimally invasive colorectal and pancreatic surgery, with a strong commitment to improving surgical outcomes through advanced techniques and continuous innovation. Dr. Di Mola received his medical research and surgical education at two of Europe’s most prestigious institutions: the University of Bern (Switzerland) and Heidelberg University (Germany). These formative years provided him with a comprehensive and international perspective on surgical practice, with particular emphasis on complex gastrointestinal and pancreatic procedures. At the University of Chieti, he combines his clinical responsibilities with academic duties, actively engaging in teaching, mentoring, and research. As Deputy Head of his department, he plays a key leadership role in the coordination of surgical services, development of clinical protocols, and training of residents and medical students.
