Professor of Radiology at Heidelberg University Clinic
Chief physician and Head of Interventional Radiology Lucerne Cantonal Hospital, Switzerland De-Hua Chang received his medical degree including a doctoral thesis from the University of Heidelberg, Germany. After completing his residency in pediatric surgery at the Medical University Hannover and in diagnostic and interventional radiology at the University Clinic Cologne, he became board certified in radiology in 2013. He was appointed consultant and later professor at the University Clinic Cologne, Germany. Dr. Chang headed the Department of Interventional Radiology at the University Clinic of Heidelberg until 2024 and currently serves as Chief Physician of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine and Headof Interventional Radiology at the Cantonal Hospital Lucerne, Switzerland. He is also Professor of Radiology at the University Clinic of Heidelberg and aconsultant at the Champalimaud Pancreatic Cancer Center in Lisbon, Portugal. Dr. Chang holds advanced European qualifications in interventional radiology and endovascular procedures and is a fellow of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe. His research focuses on interventional oncology and advanced endovascular therapies.
