The overall aim of our laboratory is to get a deeper understanding of the role of the tumor stroma. This will obtained by studies on the functional heterogeneity of the different stromal components and to reveal potential druggable targets found in the stroma. The goal is to bring new therapeutic strategies for pancreatic cancer into the clinic. We are also involved in clinical studies on pancreatic cancer, focusing on bringing new therapeutic concepts to the clinic.
