Chiara Falcomatà is a postdoctoral fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she investigates how pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) remodels its microenvironment to evade immune responses. Her work integrates invivo genetic screens, spatial functional genomics, and preclinical models to uncover mechanisms of immune suppression and therapeutic resistance. She earned her PhD from the Technical University of Munich, where she studied tumor evolution and combinatorial treatments in PDAC. Her research aims to inform new strategies to enhance immunotherapy responses in pancreatic cancer.
