Professor Aaron Hansen is Senior Medical Oncologist and Professor of Medicine at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. He is Medical Director of Cancer Services at Metro South Health, and the Director of Clinical Trials at the Translational Research Institute. Professor Hansen previously worked at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and the University of Toronto, Canada, where he was Medical Oncology Site Lead for Genitourinary Cancers and a clinician investigator in early phase drug development. His research focuses on experimental drug develop, translational oncology and Phase I clinical trials. He has published more than 230 peer-reviewed manuscripts and leads multiple international clinical trials.
